Research

Along with the activities on undergraduate and postgraduate studies, professors and assistants of Novi Sad Faculty of Law are involved in a number of academic research projects. During previous decades a great number of projects have been realized for corporations, ministries and other state agencies, as well as for non-governmental organizations. These projects are usually conducted in a group format and on long-term basis. The Faculty is frequently engaged in "macro" projects, including nearly all professors and assistants. If necessary, researchers and scholars from other faculties and institutes, along with renowned practitioners, are engaged to participate in the projects.

The professors and assistants of the Faculty are also members of various expert teams both in Serbia and abroad. Moreover, the participation of the Faculty's professors and assistants in national and international academic conferences, and a large number of their monographs and other scholarly works proves that individual research has been developed and encouraged.

Within the last decade, the Faculty has taken on two large academic research projects, financed by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of Serbia.

1) The Reconstruction of Yugoslav Legal System on the Basis of Freedom, Democracy, Free Market and Social Justice (1996-2000). The results of this project were presented in two publications under the same name: the 1998 edition (pp. 368), and the 2000 edition (pp. 336).
