Slobodan Orlović, Ph.D., Full Professor 

 

He was born in Sarajevo, SR Bosnia and Hercegovina, in 1972. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Novi Sad in 1997. He obtained his LL.M. degree by defending the thesis “Executive Power in Former Yugoslav Republics” in 2002. He obtained his Ph.D. degree by defending the doctoral dissertation “Principles of Power Division within the Constitutional Development of Serbia” at the same faculty in 2008.

He was elected to the position of Assistant Professor for the scientific field Public Law, for the course Constitutional Law, at the University of Novi Sad in 2008.Before that, he worked in judiciary, in the field of finances and education. In that time he passed his bar exam (2000). He was elected to the position of Full Professor in 2018.

He had been performing а function of Vice-Dean for international cooperation (2011-2015) andthe function of Vice-Dean for science (2015-2018) atthe Faculty of Law, University of Novi Sad. He has been performing a function of Vice

Dean for finance since 2018.; a function of President of the Ethical Council of the University of Novi Sad since 2017. and a function of Editor of the Collected Papers of the Novi Sad Faculty of Law since 2013. He is the member of the

Serbian Association for Constitutional Law and the member of the Serbian Legal Club.

He speaks English and Russian.

He is the author of more than seventy academic and professional papers in the field of Constitutional Law and three books.
