Svetozar Čiplić, Ph.D, Assistant Professor

Born in Novi Sad in 1965. He graduated from the Novi Sad Faculty of Law in 1993. He received his LL.M. degree from the same law faculty in 1996 having defended thesis “Constitutional System in a State of Emergency”. In 1995 he was elected for the assistant for the Constitutional Law course at the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad, and in 2011 for assistant professor. Svetozar Čiplić, Ph.D. participated in preparation of several bills and political documents.

Areas of academic interest: organization of government (with special interest for organization and functioning of parliaments; relationship between parliament and government – separation of powers), political theory and political philosophy.

He was appointed for the Judge of Constitutional Court of the Republic of Serbia in 2002.
