Stefan Radojčić, Assistant

 

He was born in Doboj in 1992. He graduated from the Law Faculty of the University of Novi Sad in 2015. He received an LL.M. degree from the Law Faculty of the University of Novi Sad in 2017 (Master thesis: State Responsibility for the Breach of the European Convention on Human Rights). He enrolled Doctoral studies – Public law in 2018 at the  Law Faculty of the University of Novi Sad.

He is a secretary of the Department of International Law and International Relations, editor of the Journal Pravnik, editor of the Internal Journal Informator and a member of the Scholarly and Academic Council of the Faculty. He is a member of the Academic Council of the Balkans Research Group as well as a member of the Academic Council of ELSA Serbia.

He is a research associate in the Project ‘Legal Tradition and New Legal Challenges’, organized by the  Law Faculty of the University of Novi Sad. Also, he is engaged in the international project ‘Global Atrocity Justice Constellations’, in the field of International Criminal Law, which is organized by the academic network COST, with 38 participating countries, supported by the EU Framework for Research and Technological Development.

He is author/co-author of seven papers and he participated in six international scientific conferences.

He started an academic career in 2016 as a demonstrator at the Department of International Law and he was elected as an associate in 2017, within the same Department. In 2019 he was elected for an assistant.  He teaches practical classes of Public International Law and EU Law. 

After the graduation, he has been a member of the Bar Association of Vojvodina for more than a year, as a legal trainee. During the third and the fourth year of his bachelor studies, he conducted an internship within the Defense Counsel in the case of Prosecutor vs. Mladić before the ICTY.

As a student, he has participated in six scientific conferences, as well as in four moot court competitions in the field of International Law. He was awarded as Best Government Counsel at the Interntational Criminal Court Moot Court Competition 2016, with 60 universities participating in the Competition.

He was awarded twice by the University of Novi Sad. He was given Extraordinary Award for the Scientific Work of Students in the academic 2012/13, for а paper ‘Constitutional Appeal as an Act of Constitutional Protection of Human Rights’. He was also awarded by Award for the Scientific Work of Students in the academic 2013/14, for а paper ‘Vertical Organization of Power with a Review of the Position of the AP Vojvodina in the Constitutional System of the Republic of Serbia’.

He speaks English (International Legal English Cetificate ILEC – C1 CEFRL), while he is actively improving German and French.

He holds black belt in karate and he has won many medals in domestic and international tournaments. Also, he obtained a regional volleyball referee level.
