Tatjana Bugarski Ph.D. Associate Professor

Born in 1975 in Novi Sad. Graduated from the Novi Sad Faculty of Law in 2000. That same year she was elected to the position of Teaching Assistant for the course in Criminal Procedure Law. In July 2003 she received LL.M. degree from the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad with thesis “Models of Investigation Procedure in Contemporary Criminal Law” and in 2006 she defended her doctoral dissertation "Particularities of criminal procedure in organized crime, terrorism and corruption". In 2004 she was promoted to Assistant, to Assistant Professor in 2007 and in 2012 she was promoted to the position of Associate Professor. Since 2006 she is the head of the internship programs that are performed within the judicial authorities in Novi Sad. Since 2007 she is the coordinator of the Legal Clinic for Environment protection and since 2011 she is the coordinator of the Legal Clinic for combat against Human Trafficking at at the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad . From 2008 to 2011 she was Vice Dean for International Cooperation at the Faculty of Law and since 2011 she is on the position of Vice Dean for Education. She is a member of the Board of the Department of Social Sciences at the Matica Srpska in Novi Sad and a member of the Editorial team of the Matica Srpska magazine (series of social sciences).Within the framework of scientific research she has published about more than 60 paper-works and several books as author/co-author. She has participated in numerous national and international professional meetings and conferences, as well as in a number of research projects. In 2012 she was a member of the Working Group on amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code, appointed by the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration of the Republic of Serbia.
