He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Novi Sad in 2002. During his undergraduate studies, he received several awards for his academic achievements. In 1999 he was awarded with a plaquette for the best student of the Faculty of Law of the University of Novi Sad. In 2002 he received an award for the academic achievements during the whole period of his studies.

He received his LL.M. diploma by defending an elaborate thesis under the title: „Analysis of the Serbian Law on Financial Leasing in the Light of the U.C.C. Article 9” at the Central European University - CEU at Budapest. He received a Ph.D. degree at the Faculty of Law of the University of Novi Sad in 2012 by defending doctoral thesis titled Kauza obligacionih ugovora (Cause of contract).

His university carrier began in 2006 when he was elected to the position of teaching assistant at the Department of Civil Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Novi Sad. He was elected to the position of assistant professor in 2014 and of associate professor in 2019.

He teaches Law of Obligations on undergraduate studies, Secured Transactions Law on graduate studies and Private Law in the European Union and Law of Obligations – material and non-material damage on Ph.D. studies.

He participated in several international scientific meetings in the country and abroad.
Area of his academic interest: general theory of the contract law, liability for conducting negotiations in bad faith, collaterals, liability for damage, etc.

He wrote more than 60 articles, conference papers and other scholarly writings.

He is fluent in English and has a good knowledge of German.
