Born in Subotica in 1978. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Novi Sad in 2002 with GPA: 9,93, the highest in his class. During his undergraduate studies, he received several awards for his academic achievements. From the second year until the end of his studies, he was a scholarship grantee of the Foundation for providing scholarship for talented students of the University of Novi Sad. He had been awarded special university awards for academic excellence three times: in 1998 for the achievements in the academic year 1997/1998, in 1999 for the achievements in the academic year 1998/1999, and in 2002 for the academic achievements during the whole period of his studies. In 1999 he had been awarded a Plaquette for the best student of the Faculty of Law of the University of Novi Sad. In 2000 he had been awarded a «For a Promising Generation» Diploma of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in Belgrade. From 2000 till 2003 he was a college-student of the first generation of the Hungarian College for Higher Education in Vojvodina (Vajdasági Magyar Felsőoktatási Kollégium) in Novi Sad.

He began his postgraduate LL.M. studies in the Hague, the Netherlands, at the TMC Asser Institute. He continued his postgraduate studies, commenced in the Hague, at the Central European University - CEU at Budapest, as a receiver of CEU scholarship. He obtained his LL.M. diploma by defending an elaborate thesis under the title: „Analysis of the Serbian Law on Financial Leasing in the light of the U.C.C. Article 9”. The University of Belgrade, upon the recommendation of the Committee for Nostrification of the Faculty of Law in Belgrade, nostrificated his LL.M. degree obtained at the CEU as magisterial studies, hence he obtained the degree of magister of legal sciences under domestic law, too. He enrolled at the doctoral studies Privatno pravo (Private Law) at the Faculty of Law of the University of Novi Sad. He received a Ph.D. degree at the same institution by defending his doctoral thesis titled Kauza obligacionih ugovora (Cause of contract).

He attended several scientific conferences. During 2006 and 2007 he stayed on several occasions in Budapest and once in Brussels.

Having graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Novi Sad, he found employment as a legal adviser in the Procredit Bank, and as a teaching assistant in the course Banking and Stock Exchange Law at the Faculty for Business in Services (FABUS) in Sremska Kamenica, subsequently.

Since February 2006 he has been employed at the Faculty of Law of the University of Novi Sad: was appointed trainee assistant for the course The Law of Obligations in February 2006, and later as an assistant for the same course in February 2008.

Area of academic interest: contract law, comparative secured transactions law.

He is the author of more than 30 articles and scholarly writings.

Language proficiencies: English (fluent) and German (fair)

He is the secretary of the Department of Civil Law for postgraduate studies.
